About the Show

Nobody taught you how to be a man.

Nobody taught you how to be a man, a husband, a father. How to lead. You are told "be a man," but nobody showed you what that actually looks like. So you followed men who were figuring it out the same way — imperfect, uncoached, doing it alone.

Good at Being a M.A.N. is a conversation between two friends who stopped pretending they have it figured out. Billy is in full-time ministry and an Air Force veteran. Wes has a corporate career and is a Marine veteran. Both are husbands and fathers of four. Neither is an expert. They're learning what it looks like to model courage, abide in Christ, and nurture with love — the M.A.N. framework behind every episode.

No lectures. No Christian clichés. No fluff. Just two men sitting at a table, honest about where they're failing, calling each other out, and learning to lead well and love well. Grab a chair and listen in. You don't have to figure this out alone.

It's not about being perfect at it. It's about being good at it.

The Framework

What M.A.N. stands for.

Every episode is built around three things God calls men to — not as a formula, but as a direction to grow toward.

M

Model Courage

Men lead by example. A man who models courage doesn't have it all together — he shows up anyway, and lets others see him do it.

A

Abide in Christ

Everything flows from the vine. A man who abides is rooted — not performing for God, but walking with Him in the everyday.

N

Nurture with Love

Strength and tenderness aren't opposites. A man who nurtures builds up the people around him — his wife, his kids, his community.

Your Hosts
